Are you looking for some summer tablescape ideas? I love creating stunning tablescapes for every season. Here’s a gorgeous blue and pink tablescape that I designed for the summer. I hope this gives you some fresh inspiration if you love colorful, unique tablescapes.

This tablescape started with these gorgeous pink shell-shaped placemats. I discovered them at a brand new local thrift store for just $1.50 apiece and scooped them up. They were perfect to pair with my pink cabbage plates for a summer tablescape.
The base layer of this table was a blue and white ruffled tablecloth that I custom made for my table. I was so proud of this project, which came together with fabric from a large thrifted sheet. I love that I was able to repurpose the sheet into something beautiful, and it was much more affordable and sustainable than buying new fabric.

Next, I added the new placemats and layered in my classic Blue Willow plates and the new favorite pink cabbage plates. I added glass goblets and my prized gold bamboo silverware. Finally, I used a white footed vase to hold some faux pink flowers for my centerpiece.

My daughter has taken an interest in my tablescapes. She always wants to come over to the table when I’m working on them and help me. She also will arrange her own little toy plates on our ottoman and declare that she’s creating a tablescape.
She’s only two, so I don’t let her hold my glassware, but I allowed her to help with the linens. She was ecstatic about being my helper.
