It’s no secret that I love thrifting and sharing my best thrift store finds! I enjoy browsing my local thrift stores and going on day trips out of state to thrift new locations with my husband. I’m passionate about vintage décor at affordable prices and the sustainability factor. I love that I’m not contributing to mass produced décor and that I’m saving things from the landfill.
Whenever I thrift, there are certain items that I’m pretty much always on the lookout for. From items I collect to specific craft supplies, these are things I will never leave behind when I spot them on the shelf. I hope this post inspires you to find great deals on your favorite collectibles at your local thrift spots!

My favorite China pattern is Blue Willow China, and I always keep an eye out for these pieces. I have created a collection of gorgeous dinnerware by purchasing mainly from local thrift stores. You can search for your favorite china and create a collection that you’ll treasure for years to come!

Depression glass is a colored glassware that originated during the great depression. It comes in multiple colors, but I like to collect the pink pieces. I have created a treasured collection that I love to display and use in my home.

Buying frames brand new can be so expensive! I also just prefer the look of a vintage gold frame to a brand new modern one. Thrift stores are a great place to score pretty frames for your home. I’ve used mine to great an entire gallery wall!

I really love a pretty ginger jar to display in my home. They are pretty as-is, or you can remove the lid and use them as a stunning vase. I have a couple of ginger jars in my home, and I’ve also sold a few on Etsy. I always find stunning ones at the thrift store!

I love drinking wine and cocktails from stunning vintage glassware. I have crystal wine glasses, coffee mugs, and cocktail glasses. Also, I really enjoy a nice decanter, and I have a few in my collection. You can find really stunning barware for a fraction of the price of buying it new.

I’m an avid sewer, and I’m always checking the fabric remnant sections of the thrift store for pretty fabric. It’s much more sustainable and less expensive than buying new fabric – just be sure to run it through the wash before you use it. My favorite find in this category is still my red toile fabric, which I used to make placemats.

I’m always keeping on eye out for faux florals at the thrift store. They can be really expensive new, so I love to stock up on these when I see them. Even if you don’t love the arrangement or the vessel, you can take it apart and reassemble it to suite your tastes.

I love finding stunning and inexpensive China plates at the thrift store. Individual plates are usually a few dollars apiece, and you can use them to create a plate wall or to make a custom tiered tray.

Design, thrifting, and entertaining are my passion, and I share that passion with you through this blog. I also love being in the kitchen and crafting cocktails. I love Jesus and occasionally, I talk about him too. He has been so powerful in my life, and I love to bring him glory with my hobbies.
