Cherry Almond Iced Latte (Easy and Refreshing)

By , August 16, 2026

This cherry almond iced latte was actually inspired by a body lotion! I recently purchased a plant-based lotion from a local brand in a cherry almond scent. It smells amazing, and I have loved my nighttime ritual of putting it on my hands and feet.

The scent is so yummy I wanted to eat it. After several nights of wanting to taste my lotion, I decided I needed to make something cherry almond flavored to satisfy the craving. As a result, I ended up concocting this cherry almond iced latte. It was delicious, refreshing, and exactly what I was wanting.

Cherry Almond Ice Latte: A Refreshing and Tasty Treat

I started with a cherry simple syrup recipe that I made my own by adding almond extract. I was actually really happy about this, because I’ve had a barely used bottle of almond extract in my pantry for some time now. It was exciting to finally have a use for it!

The scent while I was making this syrup was truly intoxicating. My husband and I could hardly keep ourselves from sniffing the syrup. I then mixed it with some iced espresso that I had brewed earlier with my moka pot. I stirred in some oat milk, then I topped it with some cold foam and a cherry on top.

I’m not normally a sweet coffee drinker – I usually take mine with milk and no sugar. But this cherry almond iced latte was so yummy and refreshing that I will surely be making it again. I actually made two – one for me, and one for my husband. He enjoyed his as much as I did!
