This blog is already full of my ideas for repurposing doilies. This simple winter or holiday doily DIY project is so easy and so beautiful! I used a little fabric stiffener and a lot of doilies to create some pretty snowflakes that can be hung on the window or on your Christmas tree.

For this project, I repurposed a doily tablecloth that had some damage to it. I simply cut the doilies apart to separate them. But you can also just use regular circular doilies to create your snowflakes.

Doilies can be found at thrift or antique stores, yard sales, or even your mom or grandma’s collection. For projects like this, I try to use doilies that don’t have a lot of sentimental value. I like that I was able to use a damaged tablecloth for this project. I felt like I was giving something new life rather than ruining it.

These doilies can be used in multiple ways. You can hang them in a window as snowflakes, turn them into Christmas tree ornaments, or string them together to create a garland.
Without further ado, here’s how to make DIY doily snowflakes!

If you created your own version of this DIY, I’d like to see it! Tag @Lauren_Rose_Home in your project photos.
