Jungle Themed Baby Nursery Tour
We became the proud parents of a sweet baby girl on July 6, 2023. One of the most exciting things about preparing for her arrival was decorating our nursery. After much thought, we finally selected a jungle themed baby nursery, which I loved because 1) it is gender neutral and 2) it’s absolutely adorable! Colors & Curbside Finds As you can see, our main colors were green and white. I painted the walls in a color called Copper Patina, which I always describe as being the same color as the Statue of Liberty. The large “A”, which stands for Alexa, was a thrift store find that I painted white. I…

Are you a stay-at-home mom? If you are, you are in the right place! In this blog post, I will discuss seven stay-at-home mom habits that I like to stick to. These will help you stay busy and maintain your mental health. I am proud to be the mama to a very sweet and very active one-year-old girl. Best Etsy Finds: Gift Ideas and Items for Your Home
I adore looking at products for sale on Etsy, but I rarely buy anything. This is because my preference is for buying secondhand at thrift stores. It’s also great to know that your purchase is supporting a small business over a large corporation. When I find a…

Tea Party Bridal Shower
My younger sister Lindsey is getting married in October, so recently we threw her a tea party bridal shower. She loves tea and she’s also an avid reader, so the décor included lots of books, teapots, and teacups. I planned the menu for the shower, made tea sandwiches, and baked some desserts. My mom created charcuterie teacups and handled all of the gorgeous table arrangements. My sister Lisa planned some fun games to play during the shower. The shower was a great success! We were all happy with how things came together and everyone really enjoyed the afternoon. Read on for some inspiring photos from the shower, plus get some…

Faux Orchid Thrift Flip: How to Repot a Floral Arrangement
I recently embarked on an out of state thrifting adventure with my husband and daughter. We drove around Pennsylvania to some thrift stores that we like to visit from time to time, including Second Avenue Thrift Superstore and Goodwill. On the trip, one of my favorite scores was this potted faux orchid. According to the sticker on the bottom, this was originally from Pottery Barn and was selling for $50. I got it for just $5! This is definitely considered a steal in my book. I love orchids, but whenever I buy real ones they always end up dying after a few weeks. I was excited to score this one…
