Summer Outfit Inspiration: 4 Outfits I Can’t Live Without
Ah, summer. Between the warm weather and the cold drinks, summer is the perfect time of the year to bare those legs in a gorgeous dress or pair of shorts. This summer, here are the outfits I’ve found myself gravitating toward over and over again. These beautiful pieces are the perfect summer outfit inspiration!
Summer Outfit Inspiration: Navy Blue Michael Kors Dress
This navy blue Michael Kors number was a $7 Goodwill score. I’m not normally a fan of loose-fitting dresses (they tend to make my curves look frumpy), but this is the perfect “just slightly loose” fit that’s both flattering and comfy.
Summer Outfit Inspiration: Hot Pink Floral Old Navy Dress
This hot pink and red dress was $15 at a 50% off Old Navy sale. My friend who was shopping with me commented that the colors clash, but I love this unique and bright color combination. The flutter sleeves and tropical floral pattern make this dress flirty and feminine.
Jewel Green H&M Dress
This green dress was bought new from H&M (yes, buying new is rare for me, and I must confess that my grandmother treated me to this). I love the jewel-toned green, which is one of my favorite colors to wear. I paired it with simple $7 thrifted leopard flats. Yes, I had to get a thrift store item in there somewhere! I wore this dress by itself for the photoshoot, but I typically wear it to work paired with leggings to stave off the cold air from the AC.
Leopard Print Top & Shorts
This fluttery leopard print top was a secondhand H&M score for just $6. The shorts were bought new, also from H&M. I tend to opt for dresses and skirts over shorts during the summer, but the fit of these shorts was just right – not too frumpy, but not too skimpy either.
